As part of the International Year of Cooperatives, two professionals from the Desjardins Group, Valérie Racine, strategic advisor to the Senior Vice-President, People and Culture, and Dimitri Souléliac, senior advisor for IT Security Governance, discuss their experience in Haiti.
They travelled there in 2011 to carry out specialized support mandates with the Le Levier federation of financial cooperatives, a partner of Développement international Desjardins (DID) since 1995. Their contribution was a follow-up to the fundraising campaign undertaken throughout the Desjardins Group the day after the earthquake that struck on January 12, 2010 and was intended to put Desjardins experts at the service of the Le Levier federation.
