DID Professional Experience

Activity Report

Summary report on the DID “PMCA Workshop” (Mali, March 2007)
An international workshop on agricultural finance was held from March 14 to 16 in Bamako, Mali under the project to professionalize agricultural credit methods (PMCA). The workshop was coordinated by Développement international Desjardins (DID) and financed by the Government of Canada under an agreement with the Canadian Partnership Branch of CIDA. Entitled Le financement agricole : enjeux et perspectives (Issues and Outlook for Agricultural Finance) the workshop attracted over 50 participants from 12 different countries. There were presentations by DID partners and experts along with discussions of topics related to agricultural financing. This document is a summary of the presentations and discussions.
